1. PRODUCTION MANAGER 

What will I be doing?

Some of the key responsibilities of the role includes:

  • Communicating daily with overseas suppliers to ensure that all import orders are entered and followed up properly and thoroughly.
  • Provide accurate technical packs including specifications.  
  • On receipt of goods, QC, measure and comment on all proto samples, fit samples and salesman samples and ensure all products adhere to tech pack specifications.
  • Chasing suppliers and following up on all orders ensuring timelines and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Raising, updating, receipting and costing of purchase and production orders.
  • Creating Costings, Bill Of Materials and for one of the roles - Wholesale Pricing.
  • Administrative work and Co-ordination of all import documentation involving invoicing, shipping and freight documentation.  
  • Collaborate with the directors as well as fashion design team regularly
  • Highlight any delivery issues/quality issues to relevant teams
  • Regularly identifying styles that need to be re-stocked and putting orders through
  • Communicating with the customer service team regularly regarding styles that need to be restocked
  • Communicating with designers and pattern makers and relaying the appropriate information to suppliers 

Who are we looking for?

Our dream production manager would come with;

  • Minimum of 1+ year experience in a similar role within a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have technical understanding of garment construction and knowledge of fabrics
  • Being aware with current fashion trends
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Offshore production experience is essential
  • Experience with wholesale management is an advantage

The days and hours of work will be flexible and discussed upon employment. Our typical working hours are 10-6. Parking available on site. 15 mins walk from Sydenham/St Peters train station. 

 

2. CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT 

What will I be doing?

Some of the key responsibilities of the role includes:

  • Responding to customer enquiries via email and phone
  • Assisting with inventory management
  • May include writing product descriptions and uploading products
  • Assisting with managing the end to end coordination of orders from despatch to returns

Who are we looking for?

Our dream customer service assistant would come with;

  • Love for online shopping and a genuine interest in our brand
  • Passion for customer satisfaction
  • Fast typer
  • Proficient computer skills 
  • Passion for social media tools such as Instagram and Facebook 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment 
  • Photoshop skills are preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all team members to ensure clear and effective communication at all times

The role will be on a casual basis with potential to turn into a permanent position depending on performance.

 

3. WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

What will I be doing?

Some of the key responsibilities of the role includes:

  • Picking and packing online orders accurately and efficiently
  • Taking regular stock counts
  • Ensuring style codes, allocations and pricing are accurate and up to date at all times
  • Processing returns

Who are we looking for?

Our dream warehouse assistant would come with;

  • Experience in a similar warehouse assistant role at a fashion company is preferred
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all team members to ensure clear and effective communication at all times
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines

 The role will be on a casual basis.

  

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES  

Social Media and Marketing

Salary: Unpaid
Location: St Peters, NSW
Hours: 1-2 days a week (the days are flexible depending on applicant's availability)

This role requires:

  • Currently enrolled in tertiary course, or
  • A recent graduate within 48 months of course completion
  • Educational background and current/previous course of study must be related to the internship offered
  • Aged 17+
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the internship program
  • Be punctual, reliable, professional and comply with Meshki's professional standards
  • Please include your portfolio/examples of your work in your application

This role entails:

  • Developing and implementing an encompassing advertising plan, office initiatives; including social media, web and promotional items
  • Managing Meshki's Facebook and Instagram
  • Exploring and proposing updates/enhancements and new options for meeting office goals via advertising
  • Collaborating with bloggers and social media influencers 
  • Creating an online blog 
  • Coming up with out of the box marketing strategies to appeal to our customers
  • Market research

Graphic Design

Hours: 1-2 days a week (the days are flexible depending on applicant's availability)

 

This role requires:

  • Currently enrolled in tertiary course, or
  • A recent graduate within 48 months of course completion

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is essential
  • Aged 17+
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the internship program
  • Be punctual, reliable, professional and comply with Meshki's professional standards

This role entails:

  • Designing promotional online banners, email marketing images and social media images according to Meshki's style and aesthetics
  • Re-touching product photos in Photoshop
  • Maintaining and developing Meshki's website

 

Blogging/Copy Writing

This role requires:

  • Have a keen interest in our brand and its personality and vision
  • Quit wit and sense of humour 
  • Exceptional writing skills 
  • A sense of style that is inline with MESHKI's aesthetics
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the internship program
  • Be punctual, reliable, professional and comply with Meshki's professional standards

This role entails:

  • Writing engaging content for website. Eg. product descriptions & collection descriptions
  • Collaborating with marketing team to write content for EDM and online marketing campaigns
