MESHKI Foundation
At MESHKI, our mission is to empower women worldwide to be confident, ambitious and unstoppable. We’ve established the MESHKI Foundation to help shape a future in which women everywhere — no matter their background, size, shape, age or life story — have the freedom to pursue the education, career, and goals that they choose for themselves.
Through Meshki Foundation we invest in four pillars: Education, Worker Rights, Fashion as a Force to Uplift Women, and Women’s Wellbeing. These pillars guide us in making the most positive, long-term impact in driving empowerment and supporting the next generation of female leaders.
Education
Starting with creating strong, solid foundations, we’re investing in girls’ education, creating opportunities for girls to fulfil their potential and creating pathways for young women to learn, grow, and contribute to their communities. As an Australian brand, MESHKI recognises its responsibility to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young women. This is why MESHKI has partnered with Yalari, an organisation that supports Indigenous young people from regional and remote communities to access secondary education and grow as confident future leaders.
Yalari provides wraparound support ensuring students stay connected to family, culture, and Country because when students feel culturally safe, connected, and supported, they are better able to engage with learning and build resilience. Beyond the classroom, Yalari runs initiatives such as the Girls Outback Camp. Held on Country for one week, the camp supports Year 9 students to build confidence, strengthen peer relationships and their cultural identity. This year, MESHKI’s partnership with Yalari will enable 30 girls to attend the Outback Camp.
Through our partnership with Yalari, MESHKI is supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young women to be supported, and stay connected to who they are, where they come from, and the futures they choose.
“The Yalari scholarship program is preparing me for the future by helping me become more independent and work towards my goals. I’m really grateful for this opportunity, it’s going to make such a difference for me.” — Samirah, Yalari Scholar
Workers Rights
While every MESHKI piece is designed and developed in Sydney, Australia, like most fashion brands, MESHKI has a supply chain with links in textile and garment facilities around the world. With workers in the garment industry being predominantly female — up to 80% of the workforce, in some regions — we view supporting positive change towards gender empowerment as a top priority. We’ve partnered with RISE (Reimagining Industry to Support Equality) to deliver targeted training programs across a selection of our top suppliers in China.
RISE accelerates equality and progress for workers in global supply chains, driving industry transformation at scale with positive impacts for workers, businesses and the communities they sustain.
Via this partnership, MESHKI is supporting initiatives that strengthen women’s confidence, financial independence, and access to opportunities, while also promoting more inclusive and supportive workplace environments. Training on financial literacy, communication, and worker voice enables women to better understand their rights, manage their income, and actively participate in decision-making processes within their workplaces.
For MESHKI’s suppliers, participation in the RISE program represents a valuable opportunity to improve worker engagement and strengthen responsible business practices. It supports suppliers in building more transparent, equitable, and sustainable operations, while also reinforcing MESHKI’s focus on fostering long-term partnerships that prioritise the wellbeing and empowerment of workers throughout the supply chain.
“The RISE program helped me find my voice. At first, I was too nervous to speak in front of others, but through learning, practice, and sharing with my colleagues, I gained confidence. Today, I enjoy sharing knowledge with others and creating a positive, engaging environment where everyone can learn together.” — Chen Guilan, woman worker, China
Fashion as a Force to Uplift Women
As a female-led brand, we at MESHKI recognise the power that fashion has to uplift women by building and restoring confidence, dignity and opportunity, especially during challenging times. Since 2026 we have proudly partnered with Dress for Success, a like-minded charitable organisation that operates across Australia, the US, UK and Europe.
Free and open to women at every point of their career entry and re-entry process, Dress for Success is the leader in advancing women in the workplace. Dress for Success provides professional clothing, styling services, career tools and employment coaching, supporting women at every step of their job search and interview process. Since its founding in 1997, the organisation has helped more than 1.5 million women worldwide achieve greater economic mobility and thrive in work and life.
MESHKI’s $100,000 partnership allows 150 Dress for Success clients to receive in-person styling, one-on-one career support, resume development and other invaluable employment-related services at no cost. Additionally, MESHKI will donate clothing to Dress for Success, and run styling training sessions for volunteers.
We’re proud to champion Dress for Success’ purpose of empowering women to achieve economic mobility through a global network of support, workplace attire, and career skills and tools for success. And we’re excited about the hands-on volunteer involvement that Dress for Success will provide for our team members at MESHKI as it allows them to be part of the meaningful, powerful act of helping other women rise to be their very best.
“I’m such a huge fan of Dress for Success because it provides a safe and respectful environment that gives women confidence without judgment." — Barbara, Dress for Success client
Women’s Wellbeing
Most of us know someone who has been affected by breast cancer, whether a family member, friend or a member of our wider network. In fact, around the world an estimated 6,300 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every single day, meaning approximately every 14 seconds a woman receives a breast cancer diagnosis. It’s a diagnosis that can have a devastating and lasting impact on women, their families and communities, but decades of research have resulted in significantly improved rates of detection and survival from the disease, alongside improved quality of life for those living with and beyond the disease. Via an annual donation to Australia’s National Breast Cancer Foundation, MESHKI is proud to support breast cancer research.
Living Our Values
Empowering women is at the heart of everything we do at MESHKI. In addition to our community partnerships that empower women in our global supply chain and through our global community partnerships, we give back to the women in our wider communities through simple but meaningful actions.
At our headquarters in Sydney, Australia, we’ve launched a clothing donation drive in partnership with Dress for Success. Every item that team members place in the dedicated donation bin is passed on to help a woman experiencing hardship feel confident, empowered, and supported.
